Crashing Economy - Now is the time for a Second Income with Home Based Business?
Every day we are being overwhelmed with statistics of jobs and homes being lost. Store fronts closing yet well over 50% of all people purchase products or services thorough the internet. That is more even than it seems, as still in this age, many people do not even have computers. Can a home based business be an answer to your situation?
Do you know someone who has lost their job, been cut back, lost their retirement or investments or even their home? Well, I do and I know a lot of them. That is where a home based business comes in but only of value if it is a solid income opportunity. Many folks do Google Search for Home Based Business and are flooded with things to look at. It is overwhelming. Let us look at the situation.
Assuming you are interested in more income and a secure financial base, what do you look for in an online home based business? Income opportunities on the internet can be shaky if they do not meet the following golden rules:
First: How long has the company been in business and what is their reputation? Some people make a big mistake about jumping into the newest and greatest. WRONG – the new company has no market visibility and track record. They have not had time in the Beta Version to work out the bugs. Think about it this way, if your goal was to sell cheep junk food (ugh) would you rather own a Golden Arches or a no name no one has ever heard of junk food joint? I think you see the point.
Second: Are they willing to give you several easy ways to communicate with them? They need to be truly available or you can find yourself blowing in the wind. And do they communicate with you in a way that is comfortable? Do they listen to YOU? Or is it hype and razzle? I like solid people with both feet on the ground and some good experience behind their belt.
Third: What is their plan for options of ways you will be able to work your business? We are not all made from the same mold and so variations need to be available. Also, will they be able and WILLING to help you. Is this a team effort OR are you on your own; sink or swim concept? Sadly, way too many companies make their income by getting you in and once you have invested into your business then cut you lose while they look for the next person.
Forth: The Quality of Products is critical. They need to be 100% guaranteed without a hassle to return. BTW what is their return rate? And are the products in high demand? Despite the economy, are people still using these products on a daily basis? Some of the hottest areas are health, wellness, and green concepts. Look for winners with a BIG name, do not be afraid that has already been out there and been sold for a long time. That is important, you want that. Also, what is their REORDER rate? It should be high and they need a long track record to show that to you.
Fifth: Can they lay out with you a plan to develop your home based business AND show you what investment you need to make, at what time table, for you to be successful? You do not want to be caught by surprise! What is the financial pay plan? That is a part of developing your plan for an income opportunity.
Sixth: What training is being offered by the company? Take a look at it. Some have all the training in the same company and some have partnered with outstanding training companies. YES, you will need training and trainers that are accessible to you. Live training, recorded and printed AND people who you can talk to WITHOUT paying them by the hour for questions. Think of the Team concept where people help each other. Some companies make a lot of their profit selling you training programs. Red Flag!
Having a road map and following these guide lines will take you a long ways towards a solid success in your home based business.
